Providing you and the rest of our customers with quality and timely service is important to us. In order to help us maintain that goal, we have implemented a few new policies.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call. We’d be happy to go over our policies with you.

What to know of your next visit.

  • First Booking

When booking your pet’s first spa day, be sure to have proof of current rabies information. We will ask you to text or email us proof of your pet’s current rabies information prior to your pet’s first visit. Pets unable to show proof of current rabies vaccine will not be able to receive their scheduled service. A first-time booking deposit of $25 will be due at the time of booking your first appointment. This will go towards the balance of your pet’s service OR any cancellation fees that may apply. Please check out our cancellation policy for more details.

  • Cancellations

We require a 24-hour cancellation for all appointments. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before appointment time will be assessed a 50% cancellation fee. No shows for appointments will be charged the full price of the scheduled service. If you feel you may need to cancel an appointment, please call us as soon as you can to avoid any fees or to work out any scheduling conflicts. Communication is key and opens up more possibilities for everyone.

Cancellation fees will be due at drop off for next scheduled visit or before booking your next appointment.

  • Late Arrivals

We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can effect on-time arrivals for appointments. If you feel you may be late for your scheduled appointment, please give us a call so that we can coordinate with you. Knowing that you are running late to your appointment BEFORE your scheduled appointment time, allows us to be more flexible and keep you worked into our schedule for the day. If you reach our voicemail, be sure to leave a message.

    Late Arrivals WITHOUT Advanced Communication

Customers who arrives 10 minutes late (or more) to an appointment will have a $15 late fee added to their service charge for the day.

Arrivals 20 minutes or more AFTER the scheduled appointment time will not be able to be taken for the day and will have to be rescheduled. This is unless the late arrival was communicated about BEFORE the scheduled appointment time and special arrangements were made with the D’tails staff.

Again, communication is key and allows us more flexibility to help get your pet in for their scheduled service.

  • Late Pick-Ups

When dropping of your pet for their service, a staff member will give you a specific pick up time for your pet. On some occasions, they may ask to call you when your pet is done if we are squeezing you in or taking your pet later than their appointment was scheduled for. This is an exception and not the rule. Most times, a specific pick up time will be given to you at drop off. If your pet stays longer than the scheduled pick up time, a kenneling fee may apply.

PRE-ARRANGED - If you are going to run late or at the time of drop off need to schedule a later pick up time, please communicate with us. A $10/hour kenneling fee may apply to those situations depending on length of time, staffing, and size of kennel needed.

UNPLANNED - If a pet is not picked up at the scheduled pick up time and we have not been called or informed that you are running late, a $30/hour kennel fee may apply. Again, communication is key and opens up more possibilities and better solutions for everyone.
